As a U.S. Marine Cobra pilot in Vietnam, Dan flew 642 combat missions and was awarded 32 Air Medals, three Distinguished Flying Crosses, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.
After serving his country, Dan earned his business degree at the University of Central Oklahoma where he was later named a "Distinguished Alum". He went on to build a successful career as a land developer, home builder, and real estate broker. One day a friend asked Dan to speak at his local civic club ... and a new career was born.
Dan joined the National Speakers Association and went on to travel the world with his message of hope and valor. He has informed and entertained audiences from Florida to Hawaii, Mexico to Canada, and across parts of Europe. Dan's life-long motto is Carpe Diem ... SEIZE THE DAY !!!
